About Us
We are a company full of people who love our pets. From our highly-intimidating 14lb Pomeranian guard dog, Teddie, to our large, fluffy, and loveable commodore doodle mix, Winston, our office is always warm with the loving presence of one or more of our furry, four-legged team members.
Furever Portraits was inspired by a Christmas gift one of our team members bought for their family. The gift, as it so happened, was a pet portrait of the family dog purchased from one of the top online custom pet portrait companies. The product was “fine”. It showed the family dog in a semi-artistic fashion, printed on glossy paper, displayed in an average picture frame. There was nothing wrong with it, but something was missing.
The connection many of us have with our pets is a deep, loving connection, worthy of celebration through something uniquely beautiful. We believe a pet portrait should be something more than a simple snapshot of your beloved pet. It should be a reflection of the unique relationship you have with them, and a reminder of the joy they bring to your life. That’s why we created Furever Portraits – to bring the beauty and love of your pet to life in a meaningful and lasting way.
While the missing factor in the currently available pet portraits was easy to identify, creating a new portrait that embodied the love we have for our pets in a beautifully artistic way was a whole new challenge. The new style of portrait needed to be something unique and beautiful enough to be able to stand alone as a focus piece in one's home if desired, but also complimentary enough to be displayed alongside other family photographs.
Through countless product test runs, trying out hundreds of different ideas (some good, some not so good, and some, admittedly, outright frightening) we developed the Furever Portrait. Through a combination of cutting-edge dimensional printing technology paired with an artistic revitalization of the timeless, elegant style of a traditional portrait, Furever Portraits was born.
